TheĀ integratedĀ displacement sensor systemĀ IN-081 isĀ based on the non-contacting eddy-current measurement principle.Ā ItĀ measuresĀ theĀ distance between theĀ tipĀ of the displacement sensor and an electrically conductive surfaceĀ andĀ providesĀ a subsequent monitoring systemĀ withĀ a proportional voltage signal.Ā
Normally non-contacting ECDS (eddy current displacement sensor) systems consist of a sensor probe, a driver electronic and a connection cable toĀ connect both. Based on long-time experience and knowledgeĀ B&K VibroĀ engineersĀ developed an innovativeĀ sensorĀ system thatĀ integratesĀ all the various componentsĀ of discrete systemsĀ into one single housing.Ā
